Isaiah 43:19 says,
“Look, I am about to do something new; even now it is coming. Do you not see it?” (CSB)
New things can be downright terrifying. You don’t know what to expect and your legs tremble at the fear of falling.
This past Monday my thoughts started twisting into anxious knots. College, getting a job, and teaching piano are all new things for me this year. Don’t get me wrong, I am beyond excited for these new things!! God has put them on my heart and I’m ready to watch what He does. I’m SO determined to grow, learn, and stretch.
But fear has a voice. And he wants to creep in and ruin our new moments.
Don’t let him win. Trust that when God says He’s doing something new, it’s for your best. Trust Him with the new things this year. Refuse to cower. Step out with confidence!
Tighten that belt of truth around your waist. In your heart focus on what is righteous. Walk this road with peaceful steps. Raise your shield when the devil’s lies fall like rain. Let God’s unconditional love fill your mind–for He died so sin can’t overcome you! Then hold your sword tight, God’s very own words reverberating from your lips.
I’m cheering you on!
AND I want to hear from you! What new things has God put on your heart this year?
P.S Prepare to see new posts and pictures. From June to November of 2019, God took me on this BREATHTAKING and hard journey. And I know in my current season now, He’s called me to share those stories with you! He has done incredible things in my life and in the lives of the friends I met!! Also, I cleaned up the blog and updated things. 😉
